Silly-ness

I bought some nail polish, which is something I very rarely do since I couldn't wear nail polish at work. But now that I have some brand new bottles, I decided to paint my nails over the long weekend.

The color didn't turn out the way I would like it, even after 2 coats. Plus this is the first time I've tried the Essie brand (I used to borrow Mit's OPIs).

I showed it to the bf.

Me: I painted my nails yesterday. I think they look Ok *I showed him my nails*

Bf:..... Ugh. No, they don't look ok. I don't like the colour. Isn't that like...raw-pork-flesh colour??

LOL. He loves food. And would make food references whenever he can. So the next day I changed the colour to dark electric blue, to his liking.

When there is another long weekend, I will try to paint my nails with other colours that I bought last week.

FYI, I got them at a really really good price (about 50% off), otherwise I would never buy nail polishes since I would only wear them on the weekend and take them off before I start work on Monday.

Have a great week, folks!

Hmm?

I'm confused.

I think I'm mad, frustrated, angry, pissed off.

I think..?

Oh wait I know!!

It's my feelings . My feelings have been hurt.

Or, is it my heart? I think my heart has been broken into pieces. Again.

Dang.

This is way too hard for a Saturday morning.

Ohhhhh

This reminds me of my childhood... AND my adulthood every time I'm in indonesia.

The LA area has a pretty big population of indonesians, and that warrants for a supermarket specializing in indonesians food and snacks. HEAVENS!!!!!

That is extremely rare in vancouver. I mean, you might find some indonesian food and snacks in random Asian markets, or sometimes at TnT. I have also heard that there are indonesian foods in Hen Long, but that's all the way in Surrey, which is a bit far from where we live

So when I was in California, my good friend Chacha took me to this indonesian store, and I almost went berserk. Literally. Lol. But I was able to control myself and walked out with only $11 worth of indonesian snacks and drinks.

What I'm writing about, though, is the drink. The mighty Teh Botol. Thank you for inventing Teh Botol, whoever you are. The name Teh Botol translates to "bottled tea". Hahaha. I know. Indonesians are very creative.

And then I sent Mit a picture of Teh Botol to make her jealous. She messaged me back to tell me she's going to Diplo. So.... Teh Botol vs. Diplo..... And here I thought I was going to make her jealous!!

Oh haiii again, spring :)

The cherry blossoms in front of our office is in full bloom :)
